International Trade

Salford City Council and the University of Salford have jointly appointed a representative, under the Launchpad Scheme, within the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) in Chengdu, China. Mr Xu Dongsheng (Tiger) represents both partners and will help to develop commercial and educational links between the cities of Salford and Chengdu. CBBC provides the Launchpad Scheme to help UK companies carry out detailed investigations of market conditions in China and to facilitate the setting up of the company’s own offices in China. The CBBC have a China website and a Manchester website where you can find a wealth of information regarding commercial links with China.
